Paradysz is looking for a New Business Development Director who will work directly with a targeted list of prospects and accounts to develop new business opportunities for Paradysz and our full site of offline media solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive on identifying prospects, qualifying them and teaming with our experts to close new business. They will have a proven track record of selling agency and/or media solutions with a focus on direct mail, print, insert media, data/analytics. They will have experience calling directly on midsize and large brands and working with senior marketing decision makers. We are a full service audience development direct marketing agency and are looking to add a new member to the business development team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation for new business prospects
- Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets
- Develop new sales strategies and determine new business opportunities
- Meet with prospect decision makers
- Deliver sales presentations to perspective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Manage sales cycle and partner with internal teams to put together effective joint solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3- 5 years of offline media sales or direct response agency experience
- Expertise in offline print media channels (direct mail, print, insert media)
- Experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies
- Relationships in any of the target categories a plus (Retail, Catalog, eCommerce, Non-Profit, Financial Services/Insurance)
- Strong presentation, negotiating and relationship building skills with C-Level contacts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce.com
